dreamsisters is the musical collaboration of Molly Conole & Nancy Waldman.
'Beautiful Dreamer' is an album inspired by the impending birth of Molly's daughter, Amelia, and Nancy's love for her daughter, Kira, and the bonds and dreams they shared together. The album includes a variety of musical styles and traditions from the Americas, Europe and Britain including folk, classical, jazz and contemporary.

The Music The 19 selections on the album combine Molly's lilting, pure bell-like soprano with Nancy's warm, free-flowing acoustic piano in a wide variety of layers & textures. The performances are both arranged and improvised. The tasteful inclusion of a touch of synthesizer, flute and windchimes lends additional color and variety. Finally, the through-line of ocean and bird sounds unifies selections into a cohesive dreamstory--musically charming, yet sophisticated.
